August 2 - Ultimate

The official ultimate rules say that ultimate teams need seven players per side. We did just fine with seven total:

Now with the token frisbeeing out of the way, we could get down to what we really came for: loungin...

Who's up for a rematch on August 16?

Ultimate or Cricket

There have been two suggestions for this Wednesday: cricket and ultimate frisbee. I say we take a vote. Because I'm sure we all believe that voters should make informed decisions, some information for ya:

What is ultimate?
-
Ultimate in 10 easy steps

All Cricket! All the time!

And because we're not voting for anything really important like a prime minister, I'm going to try to sway your vote.

I think we should play ultimate because:

a) Cricket is a bat and ball game like rounders and, well, been there, done that.

b) Does anyone have a cricket bat?

c) A few people have expressed their doubts about being able to bowl properly

d) The ultimate site is, like, rilly rilly cool

Easiest way to vote is just to leave a comment on this post before this Wednesday.

PS - Laura has agreed to be our scorekeeper this week. Yay Laura!

July 26 - Rounders

The first official WitP event and no one took any photos. Except for one of Jay doing his voodoo thing on an unsuspecting leaf:

The actual game looked something like this:

More or less. If you squint and kinda turn your head. And stand back a bit. That's exactly what it looked like.

A few days too late, everything you never wanted to know about Rounders.

July 19 - Sit-down frisbee

Well, we eventually stood up. The first, unofficial, WitP event.
